Jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, 4G and iPad
NOTE: In the video he says point redsn0w at 4.3.4, ignore that, and just use the 4.3.5 firmware, if you are on 4.3.4, use the 4.3.4 firmware, if you are on 4.3.5, use the 4.3.5 firmware, got it?
Jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, 4G and iPad with redsn0w. Works on Mac and Windows. This will also work with the Verizon iPhone 4 on 4.2.10. You will need to download redsn0w and the firmware (ipsw) of whatever device you have, you can find the download links below.
iPhone 4 4.3.5 Firmware (IPSW)
Verizon iPhone 4 4.2.10 Firmware
Windows Users:(If you have mozilla firefox or chrome, use that over Internet explorer! If you download the iPhone firmware (IPSW) through Internet explorer, watch this video how to turn firmware from .zip to .ipsw, we need it as a .ipsw!)
Mac Users: Make sure you turn off "Open safe files after downloading" by going to Safari (upper left hand corner) then preferences, then uncheck the "Open safe files after downloading".

Jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 firmware for free with redsn0w, works on Mac and Windows. This will also work on the Verizon iPhone 4 4.2.10. It will work on any desktop or laptop. This is a tethered jailbreak, tethered means everytime you need to turn your phone back on, you will have to rerun the jailbreak, this is only temporary, follow kittyra1n's facebook and twitter to be updated as soon as an untethered jailbreak (only have to jailbreak once) comes out. While technically Apple considers jailbreaking voiding the one year warranty, all you have to do is restore in iTunes and your iDevice will be back in warranty, this goes the same for insurance. If you are on AT&T wireless, this will not affect your existing wireless service. This jailbreak is similar to limera1n, blackra1n, and greenpois0n. The firmware (ipsw) can be quite large, so depending on your isp (internet service provider) it can take a while to download.
Step 1:
Download and save Redsn0w
Redsnow for Windows
Redsn0w for Mac
Download and save iOS 4.3.5 Firmware (IPSW)
(You should download the firmware through firefox or Google Chrome, if you download it through Internet Explorer, change the extension from .zip to .ipsw, if you download the firmware through Safari, before you start the download go to Safari in the upper left hand corner, click "Preferences" and uncheck "Open safe files after downloading")
If you downloaded it through Internet Explorer, heres how to change the .zip into .ipsw
Step 2:
If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, right click redsn0w and click "Run as Administator", if you are using XP, or a Mac, you do not need to do this step, just open it normally.
Step 3:
IF your computer asks are you sure you want to open this file, say Yes
Step 4:
Once redsn0w is open, click browse, we are going to browse for the other file we downloaded, the iOS 4.3.5 firmware.
Step 5:
Find and choose the iOS 4.3.5 IPSW firmware, it should be in your downloads folder, but it could be somewhere else, if redsn0w isnt recognizing it, you need to download the ipsw again through firefox, and choose that one.
Step 6:
Once redsn0w successfully recognizes the iOS 4.3.5 IPSW, press next
Step 7:
Choose "Install Cydia", I don't recommend choosing anything else unless you know what they mean.
Step 8:
Now make sure your iDevice is plugged in, if it is, turn it off. Before you press next, you will have to put your iDevice 4 into a special mode, a mode called DFU mode, essentially you hold the power button for 3 seconds, once you see the Apple logo come up, hold down the home button at the same time as you're holding the top button for 10 seconds, after 10 seconds, let go off the top button but keep holding the home button for 10 more seconds!Your iPhone 4 screen should now be blank, if it is blank, press next, if it isn't try DFU mode again, if you need help watch this video.
Ignore any messages from iTunes, DO NOT RESTORE IT NOW, now that your iDevice is in DFU mode, press next on redsn0w, this will jailbreak your iPhone, leave it plugged in until it finishes.
Since this is a tethered jailbreak, your iDevice might not boot up right after the jailbreak, just run redsn0w the same as you did before, except this time just choose "boot tethered", you will have to do this everytime your turn your phone back on until the untethered version comes out. Remember to follow kittyra1n's facebook and twitter.
If you ran into any errors, such as stuck on uploading ram disk, check this video on how to fix it, then run redsn0w again.
